Willie Landrum

December 20, 1955 — October 9, 2016

Willie was born on December 20th, 1955 in the rural town of Nanafalia, Alabama. After 15 years in the deep south under the care of his grandmother, he moved to Chicago, Illinois with his brother. About 3 years later he moved again, this time to Los Angeles, California where he joined the national guard, as well as the U.S. Army. After 4 years as an Engineering Equipment Mechanic stationed at Fort Ord, California he moved away from the noisy city, to peaceful South Bend, WA. Willie fully participated in everything Pacific County had to offer. He processed at our canneries, hunted our woods, flagged and mowed our county roads, and fished in our rivers. He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Elina Landrum. He is survived by his brother-Johnny, as well as his 2 sons-Michael and James and his 2 grandchildren-Levi and Maci. Memorial services will be held at the Golf Course Pavilion on Saturday October 22nd at 10:30am. Cremation arrangements were in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.
