Phyllis D Zumbuhl

October 18, 1928 — April 21, 2019

Phyllis Zumbuhl passed away on Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019 at the age of 90 while walking to church with her son, Billy. Phyllis was born on October 18, 1928 to John and Violet Girard in Nallpee, WA. Phyllis married Robert Zumbuhl on August 23, 1947 and together they had 7 children while settling into their home in Frances, WA. She is survived by her two sons, Gerald (Theresa) Zumbuhl and William “Billy" Zumbuhl.  Phyllis is also survived by her grandchildren, Scott Granger, Heather Granger, Jason Pickett, Jennifer Zumbuhl, Amy (Nate) Smith, Bret Zumbuhl, Jake (Jamie) Zumbuhl and Elizabeth “Biz" (Ben) Schrempp.   She had several great grandchildren: Melanie Hanson, Chase Fuller, Megan Zumbuhl, Railey Smith, Max Smith, Romie Zumbuhl, George Zumbuhl and Gracie Schrempp.  Phyllis is proceeded in death by her husband, Robert, three children who passed away at birth, her son, Bradley (Kathleen), daughter, Donelda “Donna” (Alan) Pickett and her brother, Wesley Girard in addition to her parents.  Phyllis loved seeing her family and attending church.  She loved all types of animals, especially dogs and birds but particularly hated snakes.  Phyllis and Robert were well known for their large, community Easter Egg hunts which people fondly remember to this day. Celebration of Life will be held on May 5, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Lebam Community Church. There will be a reception following the service.
