Margaret McVey

Margaret McVey, 89, died Tuesday, December 16th, 2014 at the Willapa Harbor Health and Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by her family. She was born December 28th, 1924 in Wolbach, Nebraska, the oldest of four children born to John and Inez McIntyre. She met Everett McVey while he was stationed in Grand Island, Nebraska in the Army Air Corps. She followed him to Raymond, Washington, where they married and raised their six children; Everett Jr, Barbara, David, Cindy, Evon, And John. She is survived by a sister Jennie (Leonard) Dooley, of Lamar, Colorado, and a sister-in-law Jane McIntyre of Grand Island, Nebraska. She is also survived by 4 children, 19 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her Husband, Everett, two children; Everett Jr, and Evon, two brothers; Tom and John Jr, and John’s wife Lois. The family wishes to extend a heart-felt thanks to all who lovingly cared for her the last few years of her life. There will be a casual gathering to celebrate her life at the Raymond First Baptist Church, 913 Duryea Street at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 20th.
