Lee Oliver Green, 59, passed away unexpectedly on May 12, 2014 in Grayland, Washington where he resided the past several years. Born March 21, 1955 in Everett, Lee lived most of his life on Whidbey Island, Wash. Lee worked as a lineman for several years but his passions were logging and wood splitting. He was a large man in size and spirit. He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Green in 1963; grandparents, Reginald and Katherine Taylor; aunts, Marian Gustafson and Luella Garton; niece, Brandy Kennell; and cousins, Jack Murphy and David Murphy. He is survived by his mother, Della Benson, sisters, Lori Neal (Doug), Kay Larsen (Larry); brother, Kurt Benson sister, Kandi Benson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Bayview Cemetery, Whidbey Island at 1 p.m. Refreshments to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association . Cremation arrangements were in care of Stoller\\'s Mortuary in Raymond.
