Larry Rye

October 29, 1962 - February 7, 2016

Larry M. Rye, 53, of Raymond, left this world surrounded by his family after a long illness on February 7, 2016 at his home in Raymond. Larry was born October 29th, 1962 to Sverre and Mary Rye of Raymond. He was preceded in death by his parents and his niece Rachelle Rye. He is survived by his wife Cheryl Rye, a son Sheldon Rye, his sister Rebecca Rye and a brother Michael Rye, all of Raymond; his grandkids Leyla and Nolan Rye, his nieces Amber Downey, Haley Rye, Olivia Stigar and Ava Downey; grandkids Akiah and Kiason and stepchildren Trish and Travis Stark. Larry was known for his adventurous and outgoing personality and was an avid fisherman as well as a commercial fisherman in his younger years. He was a self-employed painter. He was always there to help a friend in need and loved his family dearly. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of life will be held at the American Legion Post 150 in Raymond at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 20th, 2016. Cremation arrangements were in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.
