Kenneth Inglin

October 13, 1922 — June 30, 2014

Kenneth Ivan Inglin, a longtime Raymond resident died Monday, June 30, 2014 at the Alder House in South Bend; he was 92. Kenneth was born October 13, 1922 in Globe, Washington to Herman and Silvia (Georg) Inglin. He served as corporal in the Marine Corps. during World War II 1942-1945 in the Marshall Islands. On a GI bill of rights he attended Liola College in New Orleans for a year. He had found work for a steel construction company in Middletown, Ohio. Kenneth returned to Washington and attended St. Martin’s college in Lacey, graduating with a Business Associates degree in 1950. He also worked for the State of Washington Tax Commission before becoming a sorting yard foreman for Weyerhaeuser Co. in Raymond. Kenneth enjoyed reading in his spare time and took great pride in his yard work. He is survived a brother Donald “Jack†Inglin of Raymond, two nieces Dina Niver of Anchorage, Alaska and Jonelle Marquis of Wilsonville, Oregon; and two nephews Steve Inglin of Orting, WA and Tyler Inglin of Tacoma, WA. Kenneth was preceded in death by a brother Elvin Inglin who died while serving in 1943. At Ken’s request there will be no memorial services at this time.
