Karleen Colburn

Karleen Colburn, a longtime Willapa Harbor resident died May 30, 2015 in Star, Idaho at her daughter Shelley’s home. And a special thanks to Mark, Shelley’s husband for his devoted care of Karleen in the last few months of her life. She was born April 28, 1940 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Charles and Marcella Dahms. Then later in her early childhood Clearance Schroder entered her life, who she dearly loved. She was a loving mother and grandmother; Karleen especially cherished her grandchildren. She loved yard work and tending to her flowers. She married Thomas Colburn in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1959. They had 4 children together. He preceded her in death in 1988. Later on she met Ron Pierson, together they spent 18 years traveling and enjoying life together. Ron preceded her in death in 2014. Karleen is survived by daughters Shelley Berns and her husband Mark of Star, Idaho, Candace Sharp and her husband Mel of Stafford, Virginia; sons Brian Colburn and his wife Patti of Ocosta, Kevin Colburn and his wife Jessica of Menlo; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren also survive her. She will be missed dearly. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2015 at Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond with burial to follow at the Fern Hill Cemetery in Menlo. Visitation will be from 9a.m.-3p.m.on Thursday June 4, 2015 at Stoller’s Mortuary. Memorial donations in Karleen’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society at P.O.
