Jimmie Hilliard

Jimmie J. Hilliard, a Raymond resident died Monday, December 16, 2013 at the Willapa Harbor Care Center in Raymond; he was 87. He was born August 11, 1926 in Berryville, Arkansas to James and Gertrude (Beaver) Hilliard. Jim graduated from Winlock High School before joining the Marines. He was honorably discharged and began working for the State Department of Transportation; residing in Winlock, Chehalis, Olympia and Raymond. Jim retired in the late 80’s. He was a member of the American Legion and a past member of the Raymond Elks. He enjoyed golfing in his early years and always loved a good walk. He is survived by a daughter Michele Davis of Centralia and his companion of 50 years, Hazel Eichner of Raymond. Jim was preceded in death by a son Michael Hilliard. At his request there will be no memorial services at this time. Arrangements are in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.
