Jesse Huglen

Jesse Arnold Huglen (Hooligan) was born to Lance and Hilda Huglen on March 13, 1981. He went to be with the Lord on February 27, 2015. Jesse spent his life living and working in the Raymond and South Bend area. His daughter Jessica was born on July 24, 2006. She was the delight of his life. Jesse enjoyed riding dirt bikes and watching football, especially the Seahawks. Jesse held the record for home runs in farm team baseball with 21 home runs. He also enjoyed Karaoke. Jesse had a big heart for everyone he met. He met many strangers but they soon became his friends. He also enjoyed cooking for family and friends. We can all attest to his good food. Jesse volunteered at Habitat House and the food bank. He loved to help others when possible. Jesse was a member of the New Beginnings Wesleyan Church and even had a special chair at the church. He is survived by his daughter Jessica Huglen, his father Lance Huglen, a sister Carrie and (Matt) Nordin, a brother Darrell Thumm, and niece Sydney Brooks. He was preceded in death by his mother Hilda Huglen. Memorial donations will be split between funeral costs and his daughter Jessica’s college fund. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the New Life Church, 404 Commercial Street in Raymond, a potluck gathering will follow.
