April 3, 1940 - August 7, 2018

Janet Catherine McBride King, a resident of Bay Center died Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the Willapa Harbor Hospital. She was 78. Janet was born April 3, 1940 in Tulalip, WA to James McBride and Aldene Moore. She loved her pets. In her younger years she enjoyed gardening and handwork. She was very crafty and would often make sweaters, booties and quilts for her family. Janet is survived by her niece Doris (David) Cushman of Portland, an uncle Cecil Moore of Bay Center, many cousins, great nieces and nephews as well as great great nieces and nephews and many other local relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Judy Lytsell. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Bay Center Cemetery. A gathering will be held immediately following services at Janet’s home. Arrangements are in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.
