Janet Lee Johnson

December 22, 1932 — January 20, 2020

“Oh if only I had met you sooner, I could have loved you longer!” Janet L. Johnson 87 of Raymond, passed away January 20th, 2020 at her home surrounded by the love of her family, both near and far. She was born in Chehalis, Washington to William and Mary (Green) Bays. She married Larry M. Johnson June 4th 1949. They have been married 70 years and 7 months. She is survived at the family home they built together by her husband and best friend Larry, a Daughter Becky Beach, a Son Sam Johnson, and a Daughter Eunice Paul. A Son Kit Johnson preceded her in death. They have 12 Grandchildren, multiple Great Grandchildren, and 1 great, great granddaughter. Janet Loved sewing of all kinds. She made beautiful baby sweater sets, and blankets. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors with Larry. In her later years she spent time putting together complex puzzles. Many, many thanks to Dr Frank Hing and his staff at Willapa Harbor Hospital for their kindness and care. To Hospice for their support and patience during the last few weeks. To the EMT's for their patience and sense of humor. We are all so blessed To have you in our community. A special thanks to my Daughter Becky, and Granddaughter Sarah and her husband Rod for their care and support. I don’t know what I would have done without you. Thank you Mike and Kristy Karchesy and George and Sandy Page, for your kind and neighborly way. Think kindly of me on my journey home, I will meet you there never more to roam.
