Eunice Beck

Eunice B Beck, a longtime Raymond resident died Friday, November 28, 2014 at the Willapa Harbor Hospital in South Bend; she was 86. Eunice was born April 23, 1928 at Nalpee, Washington to Melvin and Ruth (Schlessman) Jackson. She worked retail for Dracobly’s for many years. Eunice enjoyed being a part of the Riverview Garden Club and was an active member of St. John’s Episcopal Church. She loved tending to her garden and cooking. Eunice married Robert Beck July 9, 1949 in Raymond; he survives her at the family home. She is also survived by a son Brad Beck of Concord, CA, a daughter Debbie Weisdepp of Port Orchard and twins Robin Swecker of Longview and Robert Beck of Seattle; sisters Dolores Hansen of Raymond and Irene Smith of Frances, a brother Jerry Jackson of Long Beach, WA; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Eunice was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2014 at Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond. Celebration of Life will follow at the American Legion. Cremation arrangements were in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond.
