Douglas Peace

Douglas Bruce Peace, a Raymond resident, died Friday, April 22, 2016 at his home in Raymond. He was born May 29, 1950 in Long Island, New York to Harry B. and Claire B. (Brannock) Peace. Doug married Linda Harris in Glendale, California, moving locally in 1992. Linda survives him at the family home in Raymond. He worked as a long haul truck driver for many years. He was a member of the New Life Fellowship Church in Raymond. One of Doug’s hobbies which he really enjoyed was collecting model cars and playing Bridge. He is survived by three sons, Dean Roger (Tracy) Peace, Donny Bruce Peace both of Grants Pass, OR and David Wayne Peace of Vancouver, WA; daughters Desiree (Troy) Pousette, Nikki Lynn (Brandon) Beals and Carrie Spurell. Doug is also survived by a brother Jim Peace of Grants Pass, OR and sisters Arlene Peace of Helena Montana and Mary Peace of Alta Loma, CA; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren as well as one on the way, and special friends Kathy Hilton, Gary Davis and Allen and Rose Gordon. Memorial donations may be made to Willapa Harbor Helping Hands at PO Box 597, Raymond, WA 98577. Private family services will be held at a later date.
