Danny Earl McBride, a South Bend resident died Sunday, December 6, 2014 at the Willapa Harbor Care Center in Raymond; he was 66. Danny was born April 2, 1948 at Bakersfield, CA to Don and Geneva (Ledford) McBride. Danny married Donna Downard March 4, 1967 in Norwalk, CA at the Pentecostal Church of God. In 1986 they vacationed to visit relatives in Washington; his family then decided to move from California to the Willapa Harbor. Danny worked as a long haul driver for 38 years. He was a member of Liberation Ministries in Raymond. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. Danny is survived by his wife Donna; two sons Danny Edwin McBride of Burlington, WA and Michael McBride of California; two daughters Kim Berman of California and Sherie McClung of Raymond; brothers Larry McBride of California and step-brothers Buddy Jones of California, Greg Jones of Oregon, Mario Jones of California and Dave Jones of Raymond, WA; sisters Cathy Strader and Samantha Bauman both of California, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Danny was also survived by his pets Tiny and Midget, close friends Royce and Wanda Roberts of Texas and church friends, Pastor Tony & Lisa Betker and their children Alexis and Josh. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Danny’s memory, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73123-1718. Memorial services will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the New Life Fellowship Ministries in Raymond. Arrangements were in care of Stoller’s Mortuary.
