Blake Brown

December 31, 1989 — December 23, 2017

Blake Edward Brown, known to many as Blakester, Blakely and Big Teddy Bear started his life on Vancouver Island, B.C. Canada. He was born in the small town of Comox, B.C. just before 11:00 New Year’s Eve of 1989. After almost 2 years he moved with his family south of the border to Raymond, WA where he started his American life. As a young boy he shared his sister Amanda’s love for horses and tried 4-H. He was involved with baseball, soccer, football and golf. He loved to sing along with music, dance, play guitar as well as the trumpet and bugle. He liked to fish and hunt in his teens, but later put that aside and found his love for target practice with his friends and collecting guns and knives. He graduated from Raymond High School in 2008 and continued to Grays Harbor College graduating as an Auto Tech in 2010. He worked as an auto tech for a few years and then went to work for Home Depot. He loved to laugh and joke with others. You could always find Blake playing his Xbox, on his computer or texting on his phone. He worshiped his older sister Amanda. He was great with kids, adored and enjoyed his time spent with his niece Addison and nephew Jayden. Blake loved his Seahawk buddies and fantasy football at the home of The Clarkes’. Blake was known for his smile, unique laugh and his loving bear hugs. Blake’s life was short, but it was full of love from family and friends. Blake is survived by his mommy and step-dad Debra and Matt Croswell, his father Greg Brown and Allie, his sister and brother-in-law Amanda and Travis Pollard along with his niece Addison and nephew Jayden, grandmother Ruby and many other family members and friends. A Celebration of Blake’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Jan. 6th, 2018 at the Raymond Elks. We would love to hear all the good stories and memories of Blake. Instead of flowers we would like everyone to donate in Blake’s memory to their favorite charity. Arrangements are in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond, WA.
